SDES Black Hills Chapter Social and Tour

The Black Hills Chapter invites SDES Members and perspective members to our Chapter Social and Tour!

Phase Technologies will conduct a tour of their facility and explain the types of products they produce (see below).  Attendees will receive 0.5 PDH credits for participating in the tour. The Chapter will sponsor a social hour with refreshments after the tour.

Phase Technologies, 222 Disk Drive, Rapid City

Phase Technologies relocated its entire operations mid-January 2021 into a 225,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution space located at 222 Disk Drive in the northwest part of Rapid City. The move provided space to extensively expand production capabilities and become a more vertically integrated manufacturer.

Phase Technologies specializes in engineering and manufacturing variable frequency drives (VFDs) and its flagship product, the Phase Perfect® Digital Phase Converter. With in-house engineering and R & D teams, the need for additional capacity was inevitable to manufacture the new products in development. The new facility has updated HVAC, including dedicated HVAC in lab rooms, ceiling heights up to 32’, 11 loading docks, a 1,000 CFM compressed air system, and an expansive data center to name a few features. With the previous owners/businesses, the building accommodated up to 1,200 employees with five shifts.
